A differential locker is a mechanical device that locks your vehicle's differential, forcing both wheels on an axle to rotate at the same speed. Without it, your stock open differential sends all power to the wheel with the least resistance, the one spinning freely. With a locker, both wheels get equal power, giving you the traction to tackle mud, sand, rocks, and steep inclines.
How long does installation take?
Professional installation takes approximately 4–6 hours. The locker is a bolt-on upgrade that works with your existing differential housing; no permanent modifications are required to your vehicle.
Where is the product manufactured?
Every Lamda locker is 100% designed, cast, and machined in-house at our manufacturing facility in Bangalore (Veerasandra Industrial Area). Lamda Components has been manufacturing precision engineering products since 1987.
What materials are used?
Our lockers are built with high-strength alloy steel, heat-treated for maximum durability, with corrosion-resistant coating to withstand the harshest trail conditions.
Which vehicles are compatible?
Lamda differential lockers are currently available for the Suzuki Jimny and the Mahindra Thar (CRDe, Diesel, and Petrol variants). We're continuously expanding compatibility. Contact us to check fitment for your vehicle.
Can I reverse the installation?
